The bold minimalist checkerboard design gives this pouf undeniable panache. Purple and dark brown squares down the middle are set off by the slightly lighter squares of grey and pink. Look closely and you can make out the subtle addition of cloth pieces added to the wool pile for whimsical bursts of contrasting texture in a tiny nod to the parallel weaving tradition known as “boucharouite.”
